Amplicon Sequencing and Crispr Edit Site Characterization

This is a high throughput service for sequence short DNA fragments (200-275bp) typically derived from PCR. It is especially useful for characterizing mutational profiles of genomic loci targeted for editing by CRISPR/Cas9. This service can also be used to sequence plasmids (+$10/$15 for shearing purified DNA plasmid prep).

Sample Requirements:

DNA 200-275bp (amplicons or sheared DNA).
Concentration: 50ng/ul.
Buffer: nuclease free mol bio water or EB (10mM Tris-HCL pH 8.5)

Note: to minimize cost, MBCF does not perform any QC to check concentration or size distriubtion.

Price:

$50/sample ($40/sample for full 96 well plate submissions), $10/sample for edit site analysis (target refseq must be provided).

Output:

>50,000 150bp paired reads

Turnaround time:

~1 week
