This page will contain as many up-to-date entries into unique human and eukaryotic genomes. It's not an extensive list. It will include databases that have unique data or a unique access to the data.It will probably change quickly through the year 2000 as availability shakes out. Hopefully in the future there will be one public database that has it all. Today, that is not the case.
Public Data:
National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)
Genome Guide
and click "Map Viewer"
Human Genome working draft at U. Calif. at Santa Cruz.
Ensembl Entry Points into Eukaryotic Genomes
European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI) and The Sanger Centre.
Private Data:
With the folding in of the Celera databases into the NCBI databases in the summer of 2005 there really isn't a private databse out there worth listing.
Does Incyte still have one? Send me a note.
