New Fast Track DNA Sequencing

Using the conventional way of how we handle samples, we would run one sample of an order to see how the results are. If we find that the results are good, the next day we would add more samples to be run. If the results were not up to our standards, we would adjust the amount used, run the same sample again, and check on the results the following day.

Our Fast-Track is based on a method used at other research facilities and genome centers. When you submit your samples we run ALL of your samples and give you the results within 24-36 hours. What's the catch? Sample preparation.

You will have to submit a "ready made" mixture to be run.

For plasmids add:
600ng of template DNA
3.2 pmoles of primer
and fill with water to a final volume of 12 ul.

For PCR product add:
50 ng of PCR product.
3.2 pmoles of primer
and fill with water to a final volume of 12ul.

Each sample should be brought to the Fish Room in a separate 1.5ml Eppendorf tube tube.

There is NO COMPROMISE in quality.

If in the results, we see that too much template was added, we can dilute the sample the next day.

If there is too little DNA we ask you to bring us another "ready made" mix.

The only difference in analysis is we can trouble shoot all your samples at once because they are being run together under the same conditions . Instead of spread out over various days.

Faster and Cheaper

The cost is $11 -- $3 less than the conventional format.

Like the conventional format we will rerun your samples until a desireable result is attained.
