When I get a spare minute this will become my shrine to my new 4Runner.

In the Utah Desert 1999 in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you look carefully Sue, Ted, and Evie are in there.
Did some 4WD in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Rental around Moab, Needles District, Canyonlands and Arches. Didn't find out until heading downhill in Ouray that the rental came with a "doughnut" for a spare tire! RIP! One hour later it had one used $35.00 Ouray School bus tire on the back and another for a spare. The gas station in Ouray saved me. In retrospect I was nuts doing Elephant Hill with no real spare! They would have charged me a thousand just for being stupid.
This picture I stole from another web site:

It's about 6 turns into the elephant hill trail. When I ran it the nice boulders around the edge of the hairpin turn in the center of the pic were not there. I had to string about five K tuns together so my tires could keep 6 inches away from the drop off all around. Then the next hairpin had a sign "pull in then back down". Back down what? Had to get out and find the trail dropping away........
Good Doggie!
